Since its founding in September of 2001, the Hidy Ochiai Foundation has been committed to helping non-profit charitable organizations in the Southern Tier as well as offering financial assistance to disaster relief missions in the United States and Japan. Below is a list of organizations that have been recipients of the Hidy Ochiai Foundation’s charitable works.

S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions, formerly Students Against Driving Drunk)
S.O.S. Shelter–offering safe haven and domestic violence services
Meals on Wheels of Western Broome–offering home-delivered meal service to homebound seniors
Founders Pavilion–providing extended-stay nursing care to seniors with disabilities in Corning, NY
Alzheimer’s Association–the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research
Crime Victims Assistance Center–providing education and support to community members and survivors of violence
HIDY OCHIAI FOUNDATION DISASTER RELIEF
In 2001, in response to the attacks of 9/11, the HOF raises $12,000 for the United Firefighters Association Widows and Childrens Fund.
In 2005, HOF raised $10,000 for the Salvation Army’s support of Hurricane Katrina survivors.
In 2011, HOF raised $85,000 to benefit orphans of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in Sendai, Japan.
